- Validity: Your SAT scores are valid for 5 years. You can use a score from 2025 to apply for college in 2027 or later.
- Retakes: There is no limit on how many times you can take the SAT. Most students take it 2 or 3 times to improve their score.
- Superscoring: Many universities (like MIT or Harvard) accept “Superscores.” This means if you take the test twice, they will combine your best Math score from Attempt 1 and your best Reading score from Attempt 2.
