How to Choose the Right SAT Test Centre

  • Distance: Pick a centre within 30-45 minutes of your home.

  • Reviews: Check online forums to ensure the centre has comfortable seating and a quiet environment.

SAT Exam Centre Facilities & Rules

  • Bring Your Device: You must bring your own laptop/tablet with the Bluebook App installed.
  • ID Proof: A Valid Passport is mandatory. Aadhar cards are sometimes accepted if they are the original PVC card, but a Passport is the safest bet.

SAT Exam Format (Digital)

The digital SAT is adaptive. This means if you perform well in the first module, the second module becomes slightly harder (and gives you a chance to score higher)

Yes, you can change the centre by paying a $29 fee, provided seats are available in the new centre.

While you can register without a passport, you strictly need a Valid Passport to enter the exam hall in India.

There is no limit. Most students take it 2 times—once in Class 11 and once in Class 12—to improve their score.
